The Rappahannock Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America held a candle light service on May 27 for the installation of New off.'ceis for the coming year.
Officers installed were Shirley Strxttf;- ? t wWtiWT ‘P'i'Ww fr V-President; Charlene Gasch, Secretary; Betty Lou Deal, Treasurer; Mary F. Pullen, parliamentarian; Margel Dulaney, Historian; Sue Many, Song leader and Carolyn Brown, reporter.
The outgoing officers were Dottie S. Pullen, Shirley Smoot, Joan Nethers, Doris A. Atkins, Jury Sisk, Charlene Gasch, Linda Dodson and Pat Frazier.
The table was decorated with red roses and candles from which th eoutgoing officers lighted theirs as they gave the eight purposes of the organization. New officers, as they took die dath of office were presented a rose.'
Misa Green Honored
Mrs. Graham Hackley assisted by Mrs. Mitchell Green entertained on Tuesday evening, May 19 in the home of Mrs. Hackley, at a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Peggy Ann Green whose marriage to Mr. William Britton of Randolph Macon Academy will take place this summer.
Thirey-five guests were present.
