Sunday Mrs. Brown and her guests spent the day in Charlottesville with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Jr.

Mrs. George W. Brown is spending several days this weds in Washington, ^D. G. with her daughter Mrs. 'Harty L, Smith and her granddaughter Mrs. Gerry Gossom. Mr. Brown attended the ball games in Washington Saturday and returned to his home here Sunday night. u

Mrs. Fannie Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. of Richmond came Saturday for a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. D.V. Chapman. Returning home Sunday they were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Chapman Sr. who will be their guests this week.
