dear folks

This morning when I walked in to Clore Pontiac, I; was offered and given a cigar by Johnny Clore. “What in the world is going on? Are you a proud papa or what? He pointed to the 1960 Pontiac. It is beautiful. Arthur will enjoy the cigar. I really prefer mine a little milder.

Honestly—the heat is horrible. Its bad for business. Who feels like doing any thing? I for one will Certainly welcome a little real down to earth fall weather.

Everyone is going mad over the midget races. Saw Gladys Bowie in town today. She was a little bruised up, but said jt was gobs of fun. Next time she will take a little-padding along. She won a trophy. Lucy Catherine and Bruce have also ridden in die races. If any of you girls are interested in riding contact Mr. Jenkins at Davis Street T.V. and Appliance Shop in Culpeper. !
