Scoggins has been charged with grand Iardfeny and arson in connection with theft and the burning of the home of Col. E. T. Holmes near Flint Hill. Scroggins is a-f waiting the grand jury on November 9th.

The Rappahannock Hunt Club will hold their first hunt of the season Saturday, October 24 at 9 a.m. at Stonehaven, the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Muth, who with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Crowe and Miss Flora Lee Muth will entertain at a breakfast following the hunt.
