Can you believe it! Thanksgiving is here and Christmas only about a month away. How time does fly.
Last week I had an occasion to see and read what is supposedly called a comic book. One that is being sold. 1 am certain, in hundreds of stores. It is called “Mad” and believe me it is mad. As you open the cover the first thing that strikes your eye is a horrible picture entitled “Got It”. Hubby out with another woman. A once in a »lifetime shot you and your lawyer can’t afford to miss. On and on it goes. You turn over a few pages and yap see several pages .of the “Mad” 1960 Nauseating Calendar as they call it. I can’t go on and on, but I understand now why there is a crusade against comics of this kind. I am sure there are plenty more of the same type......they are horrible and should be taken from the newsstands and not allowed in the homes!
