Col. and Mr*. Charles King spent Tuesday of last week in Alexandria.

Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Campbell had as their guests for the dinner Friday evening at Brumfield Parish Hall Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. Frank Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Stokes and their children Ann and Bill Stokes and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood were dinner guests Friday at the Bromfield Parish dinner of Mrs. J. Frank Jones and Mrs. Lewis Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Janney entertained for dinner at the Episcopal Church dinner Friday evening Mrs. Harry Lee Smith and daughters Misses Lee and Molly Smith and their house guest Mrs. Janney’s sister Mrs. Simmons.

Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Lynchburg College and Miss Becky Jones of Farmville arrived on Wednesday to spend the holidays with their parents Mrs. Lewis Turner and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones.
