Over Marshall
Last Friday night the Rappahannock High School girl’s basketball team played electrifying basketball in beating Marshall 54-24. It was one of the rare instances in sports that an entire team is hot. The first team hit well over 50% of it’s shots and the second unit was not far behind. Marshall, a good team, was simply having an off night. = , The next night the Pantherettes traveled to Loudoun. This night found the girls as cold as Marshall was the night before. The ball .just wouldn’t go in the basket. Loudoun won 45-28 with a fourth ' period outburst of points.
Rappahannock girls are sriri undefeated in league play and so hold first place in District Nine (-Loup II. The next conference game is January 27 with Warrentou on the Rappahannock Court.
