Mr. and Mrs. Lowman have added another daughter to their family. I said they could call it quits, for they had caught up with me, but Twizzie Wood says no, they have one to go. Anyway, I cant think of anything nicer than little girls.

Though we are getting fewer and fewer every ten years according to the 1960 census, no people on earth have any more fun than Rappahannockans. We manage to look on the bright side of the worst situations.

The jail break last Tuesday night has turned up the “most” in arm chair philosophy. A couple of ex-Commonwtalth Attorneys have also been reminiscing about other equally interesting cases.

For stimulating entertainment attend one of our high school league basketball games. Some of them have been so equally matched it’s breathtaking. Friday night as I passed Newhill Miller in the corridor he said, "I’ve got to quit coming to these games. It’s bad for my nerves.”
