Ueorgc ri. Uavis, jr. ot wasnington, Va. was council for Mrs. Scott and Barnes was represented by J. Lynn Lucas of Luray and J. W. Fletcher of Sperryville.

On December 22, 1960 Leroy Ashby Jenkins of Etlan, Va., represented by Morris, Ross and Berry of Madison, brought suit against Charles Edward Johnson, III of Sperryville for $50,000 after being injured and partially disabled as the result of an automobile accident with Johnson.

In May 1959 on Route 522 be- , tween Flint Hill and Front’Royal, according to testimony, the Jenkins auto was struck by the Johnson vehicle and Jenkins received injuries which resulted in 35% permanent disability of one arm and a. great loss of time from his employment. ».

The jury granted Jenkins the sum of $19,350.00 for damages. On the jury were Paul Frank Brown, Amos Butler, Leon T, Greenaway, George L. Hahnr Waverly Kennedy, E. M. Richards and VV. A. Moore.

J. W. Fletcher represented Charles Edward Johnson, III.
