OBITUARIES
Mrs. Rosie Green
Mrs. Rosie Cleveland Green, wife of Charles Wesley Green of Amissville, died Saturday, January 14, in Warren Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late Peace Cloud1® and Roberta Cubbage, his wife, she was a native of Rappahannock County. She was 57.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles Ashby Green of Amissville; six daughters, Mrs. Charles R. Davis of Riverdale, Md., Mrs. Ollie S. Clark of Arlington, Mrs. Charles L. Clark of Falls Church, Mrs. Frances Marie Fincham and Miss Jerrell Ann Green, both of Amissville, and Mrs. William F. Bird, stationed in Africa with the U. S'. Army.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Corrie Smith of Alexandria, Mrs. Lillie Francis of Manassas, and Mrs. Bertha Murphy of Martinsburg, W. Va.; and two brothers, William Cloud of Manassas and Clarence Cloud of Washington, D. C. A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 17, from the Penecostal Church at Amissville of which Mrs. Green was a member. The Rev. James Powers conducted the last rites, with interment following in Fairview Cemetery in Culpepejr.
Pallbearers were James Cloud, Nelson Cloud, Ellis Cloud, Leon Cloud, Leroy Cloud and Elmer F:ncham, all nephews.

John D. Chadwell
John Daniel Chadwell, 77, died at his home at Huntly Monday, January 16. He was the son of the late Galley W. and Georgia Grubbs Chadwell.
His wife, Mlattie Rutherford Chadwell preceeded him in death nine years ago. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Chadwell is survived by seven sons, Edward Chadwell of Front Royal, Aubrey Chadwell of Stephens City, Hansbrough Chadwell, stationed in Massachusettts with the U. S. Army, John Chadwell, Jr., stationed at Fort Bragg, N. C. with the U. S. Army, Alfred
