j Treasurer Charlie Compton reported yesterday that Amissville Fire Company grassed $9,762,41 from the annual carnival held the middle of August. This annual fund raising event was very successful, though a capacity attendance was not had as compared to farmer, years. There were several other activities in the surrounding area which possibly thinned the crowd.
