Miss Smith To Enter
Virginia Intermont
Miss Virginia Lee Smith, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 'Harry Lee Smith of Spring House Farm, Washington, Va., will be a student at Virginia Intermont College, Bristol, Va., this fall.
While in high school, Miss Smith was a member of the Drama Club, Red Cross, Music Appreciation Club, Science Club, and was active in several other activities.
Virginia Intermont will begin its seventy-seventh session with a capacity enrollment.
Mrs. Pullen Speaks
At WSCS Meeting
Mrs. Fannie Eastham and Mrs. Lockett Burford were joint hostesses to the Flint Hill WSCS at the Methodist Church on Tuesday evening and were responsible for a most intresting program.
Guest speaker was Mrs. Richard Pullen of Blackstone, who is president of Missionary work in Virginia. She has recently returned from several weeks in Japan and Korea where she was speaking to and meeting with mission groups. Her lecture was on her experiences slides taken in Korea and Japan.
