Final plans are be ng made for the fourth annual Wirren County Agricultural and Industrial Fair, sponsored by the Front Royal Jaycees, for the opening of the fair on Labor Day at 6 p.m. The fair will operate this year dur ng the week of September 4-9 or Route 340 five miles north of "ront Royal, near Nineveh.
A. L. Bzdek is fair committee chairman and Douglas Good and Douglas K. Spencer are vice chairmen. Randolph Croue is business manager and Dr. James Williams is chairman of publici y.
The fair will featu e about five acres of midway with 15 rides, 8 shows and 45 concessions. Tuesday night there will be be:f and dairy cattle judging. On Wednesday the gates will open at 4 pj.m. with no gate charge for children and rides for them will be half price until 6 p.m. At 8 p.m. Wednesday Mrs. Dorothy Davis, former mayor of Washington, Va., will be Mistress of Ceremonies for the Miss Warren County Fair Beaity Contest which should prove tu be one of the most colorful events of the fair. Thursday night at 8 o’clock there will be a Junior tractor driving contest for youth: upder 18 and a Senior tractor 4r*vfng contest Friday night for individuals 18 years and older. , Each night of the faif a $50
