Assessment Survey '
Mr. Joseph N. Lawler, Enumerator for the Bureau of Census of the Department of Commerce, ■has been collecting information in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue for two days. The survey, for the 1962 Census of Govern? ment, is being made in several counties in every state in the United States. A part of the information the Bureau will collect in the course of the project will relate to property taxes and assessments.
Mr. Lawler lives in Marshall, Va. and works out of the Bureau of Census Regional Office, Charlotte, N. C. 'He will visit six counties in Virginia and five in West Virginia during the current survey. i Revival Ta Be Held
There will be a revival at the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church September 11th through 17th. Services start each evening at 7:30 p.m. with Eld. Robert W. Keyser, guest speaker. Lunch will be served at the church Sunday, September 17 th. Everyone is welcome to attend*^
