Carter Dies
Mrs. Margaret Jackson Carter, widow of the late William Carter, departed this life September 8 at her home after a long illness. She was born in 1871 in Fluvanna County.
She leaves to mourn five sons, Ernest and Harry Carter of Pittsburgh, Pa., Roosevelt Carter of Washington, D.: C., Russell and' Ezzie Carter, Sperryville; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Butler and Mrs. Edith Patterson, both of Washington, D. C. and nine grand children.
