G. W. Smith, III and Mrs. Eva Smith were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates at Meadow Green, Boston.
Rev. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur entertained at a barbecue on their lawn for Miss Ruth Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Moffett Pullen and sons Bobby and Kenny.
Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr. accompanied their son M. R. Bradford, III to Blacksburg on Tuesday where he enters his freshman year at V.P.I.
Robert L. Massie of Richmond spent the weekend with his mother Mrs. Frank Spalding and Mrs. Spalding.
Mrs. W, A. Gentry and Mrs. William Coppage have returned home after a trip to Madison, Wis. to take Miss Lelia Gentry to the university there. Miss Gentry is working on her PhR. They visited friends and relatives in Cleveland, Ohio, Jackson, Flint, Twining and Grand Haven, Mich, and Cumberland, Md.

Women Will Meet
On September 28 at 2:30 p.m. EST the Woman’s Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church will hold its program, Season of Prayer for State Missions, in the WMS room of the church. The theme of the meeting is “I Am An Ambassador.” Those taking part in the program will be Mrs. G. L. Updike, Mrs. W. C. Campbell and Mrs. Jessie Cox. Every woman of the church' as well as any interested persons are extended a cordial welcome.
