Mr. Mitchell and his wife spent several days as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris at Hidden Valley Farm, 'Huntly. Wednesday night many of the Harrises local friends gathered to meet Mitchell and were greatly entertained by his singing many of his top record hits including “Heartaches By The Dozen.” He was accompanied by Scotty Turnbull, who also composes. His current popular composition is "Mission Bells.”
Before arriving at the Harrises, Mitchell and Turnbull had just completed a successful week at the Steel Pier-in Atlantic CSty during the Miss America Beauty pageant. The nearest he has appeared locally is at the Lotus in Washington, .D. C. Guy Mitchell is a most versatile person, who not only sings, but is a Rodeo and bronc busting star and an artist.
