A letter from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation gives brief information on “Antiresistant DDT” which will be on the market soon. The letter indicates samples will be made available to agents from suppliers for demonstrational purposes.
This new DDT is supposed to be effective in controlling insects which have built up a resistance to the DDT as we know it today;

According to a fertilizer list sent me last week by Randy Aylor, the Sperryville Co-op will have the following analysis fertilizers containing hoptachlor: 0-10-20 and 0-18-36; also 0-14 -14 and 2-12-12.
Generally speaking a 0-1-2 ratio of analysis is die best suited for top dressing alfalfa. Rarely should a 0-1-1 ration be used in this county for stand maintenance. Too bad we can’t get 3-18-18 with heptachlor. Why, I wonder, was it not approved ?
