That was the dream of a boy, long, long ago. Now drat I have reached the winter of life, I find myself only raking the dead leaves of the past. Instead, the misfortunes during my boyhood life, “I jumped out of the frying pan into the fire” when I chose to enter the drug business, the biggest of all “humbugs.” I do not mean the ol<^ “drug store” of long ago, an honorable profession, but advertising the claims of nostrums in TV “demonstrations,” which they know is false and misleading.
But my advanced age, in feeble health, but with an active alert mind still in good condition, 1 could carry out my b oy h o o d dreams but have no outlet to ex*, pose fraud and deception. Today you can’t tell the truth in public print about an advertised, “nosrum” without having a law suit.
