Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spalding spent Thursday and Friday in Richmond where Mrs. Spalding attended the conference of Commissioners of Revenue. While in Richmond they also visited Robert L. Massie, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and Mrs. C. G. Reid of Washington, Va. were afternoon guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie ip Culpeper.

Paul Nichols and Rev. Dabney Carr report a very successful day Saturday when they sold Lions Club fruit cakes in the Chester Gap and Huntly area.

Mrs. John R. Moore will have as her guests for Thanksgiving Day and the weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sours and daughters, Misses Betty and Frances Sours of Lconia, N. J. and Miss Alice Mar •lie Sours of Gainesville, Ga.

Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke were Mr. and Mrs. H. W. McCracken of Hopewell. Afternoon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Houghton of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyscr of Washington, Va. were afternoon visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs.
