Elect Officers
The Rappahannock County Rej publicans held a diQner meeting at j the Amissville Fire Hall Friday evening. Re-elected as the County Chairman was T. Morgan Johnston; George Taylor as Vice-chairman and Mrs. M. L. Cheatham. Secretary-Treasurer.
Mr. Johnston was also elected as a delegate and Mrs. Johnston, alternate to the Republican Convention at the Belle Mead Motel Saturday where a candidate was selected to run in the General Election in November for the 7th District Congressional seat.
Dr. Thomas Hall of Shenandoah was the guest speaker introduced by Mrs. B. R. Cox. Among those present for the meeting was Mr. I. R. Dovel, Page County Republican Chairman.
