of Castleton. -A funeral service for Mr. Putnam, who was a member of the Hume Baptist Church, was held Sunday June 24 from the Geest funeral’chapel, with interment in Orlean Cemetery. The Rev. Milton Switzer of Castleton officiated.
Pallbearers were John Woodward,-J. T. Woodward, Ed Ripper, Eddie Martin, A. F. Cannon, Newton Grimsley, Robert Grimsley and Downing Hitt.
Camp Meeting The second annual Penecostal camp meeting will be held at Waterloo camp grounds a mile and a half east of Amissville on the Waterloo Road from July 1 to 10. ‘ Meetings begin at 8 p.m. DST. Everyone is welcome.
