Sunset Vespers again begins its season this year on Sunday, July 1 at the Singing Tower, Luray, Va., with the Carillon Recital beginning at 7:45 p.m. and following with Vespers t 8:15 p.m.
The guest speker for the first service is the Rev. Albert P. Shirkey, D.D., Pastor of Mount Vernon Place Methodist Church, Washington D. C. where he has been Pastor since 1950. He is no stranger in this area having spoken at Vespers many times in the past.
Special music for this evening will be rendered by the choir of Mount Vernon Place Methodist Church, Mr. R. Dean Shurs, directing.
