Fish & Game Club Cites

Need, for Game Warden .*

The Rappahannock Fish and Game Club met on Monday night September 12. The subi ject of our obtaining a game warden was discussed at some length. It seems that some 6f our supervisors still feel that they can obtain a local man for this job. We would like to inform them that some of our members have made application for it and were turned down because they were residents of the county. We were also informed by some of our members that there is a lot of hunting going on out of season. So we ask our supes visors to consider this and help us obtain a game warden as soon as possible. It was decided to hold our Big Game Contest again this year, A trophy is given for the largest deer killed during the season. The entry fee is one dollar. The requirements are that you must be a member of the club, and that you field dress the deer before •it i# weighed. ... Anyone that wishes to enter can sign up with Roy Atkins at Sperryville or Charles Foster at Flint Hill.
