"Dr. W. E. Skelton is being \ appointed Dean of the Extenj sion Division. As part of this new responsibility, he will continue to operate as and carry die title of Director of the Cooperative Extension Set vice. “The Dean of the Extension Division is charged with the over-all administration of the university’s total spectrum of extension programs. Initially this will include General tension, branc*'VSele3 Cm operative ExtRlii^*f€chm cal Services, programs of the Continuing Education Center, and programs under Title I. *We believe this action will increase the effectiveness of die Cooperative Extension Ser vice as it will be a vital part of the university’8 extension programs." Dr. Skelton in conclusion of his announcement states: "Through the. Extension Divi sion, the people of the State have much to' gain by having access to th&-resources of the Colleges Of Agriculture, Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineer ing, and Home- Economics.
