who were required to .enroll! for medicare's supplementary! medical Insurance benefits by (May 31, 1966 (those age 65 February 28, 1966 or before) may qualify for these benefits beginning six months after ‘enrollment. If you have "good ‘cause" for not enrolling on or before May 31,1966 your cover age may begin six months after ^enrolling instead of waiting un til the next enrollment period prescribed by law. The “good cause" provision works this way - if you failed to enroll because of circumstances be yond your control, misinforma *ion from official sources, in some cases failure to receive ^enrollment material (if you were getting social security benefits), a bona fide unaware bess or misunderstanding of the provisions or other circumstances which may constitute “good cause", you may qualify for the earlier enroll ment.
