Arlis Frymyer assumed the position of Extension Agent, Agriculture for Page County on September 1. Mr. Frymyer formerly served as Assistant Agent in Rappahannock and Warren counties and more recently as Extension Agent in Warren County. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and taught Vocational Agriculture in Luray High School during 1952-53.

Company Changes Name
In keeping with the everchanging and modernization of its entire operation, the Old Virginia Packing Company, Inc., Front Royal, which has been operating under this name for over sixty years, has decided to simplify its name and become “Old Virginia, Inc." This proposal was approved by the Stockholders at their Annual Meeting on August lb, 1966. Formal approval for the change was received from the State Corporation Commission September 1, 1966. Over a period of years the Management of this Company with the approval of its Board of Directors, has continually carried on a campaign of modernizing and expanding its plant by the addition of new buildings and equipment. These improvements include many labor-saving devices and guarantee a high degree of quality for its Jams, Jellies Preserves, Apple Butter, ana Apple Sauce, which have been offered to the consumer in ever-increasing quantities throughout the years. OLD VIRGINIA, Inc. is the only fruit processor in the ea$t, which packs under the continuous Inspection of U. S. Department of Agriculture and labels its products U. S. Grade “A" Fancy. Distribution of these highquality products extends from New England, south to Georgia and west into Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.
