Community 4-H

Groups To Organize

4-H project groups will be organized in Rappahannock providing there is enough interest shown by youngsters and parents. These groups will be open to any girl, age 9 years and up who are interested in foods, clothing, babysitting, grooming and other areas of home economics.

There will be six meeting places and they are as follows along with the first date of meeting:

Wednesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. at Chester Gap Firehall.

Wednesday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at Flint Hill Firehall.

Thursday, June 5 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Parrish Hall, Washington.

Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m. at VFW Hall, Sperryville (Old Firehall) (this group has operated as a group for a month)

Friday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church.

Friday, June 6 at ,2 p.m. at the Castleton Firehall.

At this first meeting, those present will decide on meeting places, dates of meetings, what is to be learned and what activities will be carried. Adults are also invited to attend.

Luncheon Meeting

The Women of the Church of Brom field Parish will hold a luncheon meeting, Wednesday, June 4 at 12 noon in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va. All members and friends interested in the work of the Church are urged to attend.
