RCES Parent-Teacher* Elect New Officers
At the final meeting of the PTA of Rappahannock County Elementary School held May 22, the following officers were elected to serve in the 1969-70 school session: president, Mrs. Charles Swaim; vice president, Thomas S. Rees, II; secretary, Mrs. James F. Massie; treasurer, James E. Fountain; program chairman, Mrs. Edward Clark.
Students of the seventh grades presented a program on S.C.A. activities and facts concerning the first year activities of the consolidated county school.
Ordination Sunday For Mr. Gabbert
John H. Gabbert will be ordained at a service Sunday, June 1 at Forest Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger Clement of Victoria will conduct the service beginning at 3 p.m. Mr. Gabbert has been serving as pastor of the Forest Grove and Jeffersonton Baptist Churches.
A reception in the social hall of the church will follow the ordination, and the public is invited to attend.
