Tops in Flower Show
Mrs. C. H. Estes of Sperryville won the sweepstakes and tricolor awards at the Rappahannock, County Garden Club Flower Show held Saturday. Her Williamsburg type arrangement in “Our Heritage" class received First place and she was second in “Our Sun-Washed Shores”, class of interpretative design using foliage and material associated with the ocean.
Other winners were: South River Garden Club, Front Royal and Valley Garden Club, also Front Royal, first and second, respectively in the inter-club class. Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt’s
