Icy roads have caused numerous traffic mishaps in Rappahannock in the past week or two. On January 21, a Rappahannock County School bus operated by Stoney Frye was struck when Mrs. Mabel Keys in a 73 Buick skidded into the bus. Both drivers are from Sperryville. No charges were made andno injuries resulted, according to Trooper C. A. Moore.

Two collisions were investigated by Trooper Moore on the 11th of January; one in the Viewtown area and another in Gid Brown Hollow, both related to icy roads.
