the Panthers came out and outscored their opponent 31-18 in the final two periods. The final score showed the Panthers winning 5139. Leading the squad in tallies were: William Carter, Brooke Miller, and Donnie Compton, scoring 14, 12 and 11 points in that order.
In the prelim, the J. V. Panthers were not as fortunate. The Little Rapps were outscored 26-18 in a very close contest.
The next game will be played at the Elkton High School gym. The game should be a good rematch for the Panthers. The J. V. lost by 5, while the Varsity only lost by 7. A big home crowd at Elkton would be a great boost for the teams.
The Eighth Grade basketball team will have a home game Friday against the Luray Bulldogs. There is no charge to see die game. Game time is 4:30.
All games that have been rescheduled because of inclement weather, will be given next week with the dates they are to be played.
