than to hike the Blue Ridge trails near her weekend cabin in Rappahannock, VA. She is survived by her husband William Blanc Monroe; her daughters Lee, Arthe (Taysie), Catherine (Kitty), and Maria; her sons-in-law Tbm Phillips, Bill Ulin and Gerry Poole, and her five grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Richard Harrison and his wife Virginia; her brother-in-law Rob Brown and her sister-inlaw Maria Harrison; numerous loving nieces and nephews, and four greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings David (and his wife Mary), Anne and James. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 16 at the McLean Gardens Ballroom, 3811 Porter St. NW, Washington, DC. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a reception. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Capital Area Chapter, 11240 Waples Mill Road, Suite 402, Fairfax, VA.

Mary Frances Dodson Gentry, age 74, of Manassas, Virginia died Sunday, May 4, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Virginia.
Mrs. Gentry was bom April 30, 1934 in Rappahannock County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Milton H. Sr. and Vennie Clarke Dodson.
She was retired from Prince William County School System.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Gentry and wife Faye of Shelby, North Carolina and Ron Gentry and wife Mary of Nokesville, Va.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Milton H. Dodson, Jr. of Manassas,
