The Department of Mental Health. Mental Retardation. Substance Abuse Services in Leesburg. VA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Residential Counselor. The successful candidate will supervise staff, provide advanced clinical/supportive services to adults with serious mental illness or co-occuring serious mental illness and substance abuse. Oversees the daily operation of one or more mental health group homes m various locations throughout the County: provides clinical assessment, treatment planning, case management, training and community integration activities. Work schedule may require day. evening, and/or weekend hours. Bachelor s degree in psychology, social work or related field plus three years related experience. Will be required to transport clients in program vehicles. Master's degree preferred Employment is contingent upon CPI, CPR/ First Aid certification, background check and a valid driver's license.
