Two of the areas bestknown polo fields will host action on the Fourth of July holiday, with regular Saturday Twilight Polo slated at Great Meadow.
On Friday, July 4, a polo match will be played on the Great Meadow held as part of the Roaring Fourth of July celebration at the held events center in The Plains. No teams have been announced yet, but details will be online at www.greatnieadow.org.
Also on Friday, the Virginia International Wo Club will host a 20-goal polo match featuring 10goaiers Adam Snow and Owen Rinehart at a match at the historic Goose Creek polo held west of Middleburg. Play begins at 11 a. m.
Admission is free.
