4 Rappahannock woman was thrown from a speeding convertible car Tuesday night and received serious head injuries* according to Sheriff Connie Compton Smith.
Rescue workers responded to tiie employee parking lot near The hut at Littlie Washington where the woman was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter; authorities said.
She was transported by helicopter to Winchester Hospital where she was reported to be in stable condition, according to the sheriff
The woman has been identified as Camille Freeborn of Castleton.
