The polo seuson at Grout Meudow will extend into September this year, with two big U.S. Polo Association arena championship tournaments scheduled plus the Townsend International Cup to celebrate the sport's iOOtn anniversary in Virginia.
Great Meadow Polo President Phillip Kurber reports that, “based on the best information we have, it was on a Sunday afternoon on Sept. 6, 190b that a small group pluyed their first ‘official' match on the grounds of the unnual fair in Marshall.
