Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue (WVFR) has launched a Web site to raise awareness in the community.
The Web site details on WVFR’s officers, operations, and ways the community can support them as they rely heavily on donations to function. Volunteers are always welcome.
The site also contains a calendar of upcoming events at the Fire Hall. There are photos of a new tanker and details on the sale of an existing tanker. They even have a photo gallery where they share pictures of accidents and incidents where they intervened. training photos, fire photos and fun stuff like its traditional Easter esnr hunt.

Washington Baptist Church is celebrating its 126th Anniversary and Homecoming Day on Sunday Oct. 5. The church is delighted to have former pastor Dr. Steve Scoggin and his wife Nancy returning to share the day with them.
