The commission has been exploring the creation of a bus route for years and conducted a survey this summer that showed high interest among commuters, she said.
“This appears to be one of the first such programs in Virginia, so we are breaking new ground in solutions to managing traffic congestion in our area." said Hromynk. “Many commuters in our region have expressed an interest in this service and we are excited about implementing this pilot program.”
