Amelia Announces Tobacco Acreaere Premeasurement Plan The Amelia County Agricul tural Committee lias announced authorization of official pre measurement of tobacco acreage in the county for litoJ. The service is provided to en able growers to plant up to their lull allotment without the penalty of overpianting Application for such service should be made at tiie Amelia County PMA office. Cost of premeasurement is borne by the grower and a deposit is required with applications for the service. Filial determined acreage for any farm depends on whether planting is made witnin the premeasured area. and whether the full premeasured area is planted. A charge of five dollars per farm or two dollars pel farm plus one dollar foi acrco or fraction thereof to be premeasured, whiyh ever is larger, will oe charged. Closing date for accepting ap plications for premeasurement is March 31. Growers are asked to place requests prior to ttiat date.
