P-TA At Powatan Will Discuss Religion In School’s Course For some time there has been under consideration a plan of having Bible study in Powhatan School. Since some definite action will hove to be taken very soon in order to have this study in cluded in the schedule of work for the 1952-1954 session, president of the P-TA, Turman O. West, has extended a special invitation to each of the 16 white churches in Powhatan county to have repre sentation at the meeting of the P-TA. Monday night. Feb 16. at 8 p. m. To assist in formulating plans and to help in a full scale discus sion of the subject, there will be a speaker present from the Vir ginia Council of Churches, with headquarters in Richmond. The .speaker will discuss this matter of week - day religious education. Literature will also be available.
