Joel T. Hillsman, Resident’s Brother Dies In Richmond A funeral service for Joel Tucker Hillsman. 71. of Rich mond. a brother of W. J Hills imui. of Farmville. and J. E. Hills inan. of Amelia, was held Wed nesday afternoon in Richmond. Burial took place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Richmond. Mr. Hillsman died Monday. Feb. 9. at his home in Richmond. A son of Captain and Mrs. James H Hillsman. ne was born m Amelia. Feb. 1. 1882. He spent much of his life in Richmond He was president of George W Belk. Inc., of Smiihfield. and Foster's. Inc., at Mathews, both department stores. He was a salesman for Williams and Reed, Inc., a Richmond wholesale dry goods company, also. Besides his two* biothers, Mr. Hilsman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary M. Hillsman: a daugh ter. Mrs. Robert H. Coulter. Jr., of Alexandria: three other broil - ers. Rosser N. and Winston W. Hillsman. of Lynchburg, and Dr. Marshall Hillsman of Little Val- | ley, N. Y.: and a grandson.
