Mrs Alice Forbes spent Wednes day in Farmville with Mrs. Monroe Jones and Mrs. Cora Baldwin Mrs. Robert Owens, of Emporia, was a dinner guest Wednesday of Dr. and Mrs. Roland Hutchings. There were many children in the neighborhood who had the thrill of going for a ride in a helicopter last week. The helicopter was on the Frank Johns farm, for a demon stration. and the pilot was kind enough to take us ail up for a ride, and it was amazing how far one could see in the glass enclosed cockpit, and how beautiful t h e countryside is.
