Amelia Students To Become Officials Five Amelia students will be come state officials Thursday, Friday and Saturday when they take over as Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y representatives at the model Gen eral Assembly. Gail Dorset is slated to be sen ate doorkeeper, Lee Burnette and Ronald Dillar, senators. Betty Lou Morris, delegate, and E-dwin Smith, page. Dillard will introduce the bill prepared by the Amelia chapters. It provides for the election of the superintendent of public instruc tion by the state board of educa tion. The superintendent is now appointed by the governor. \melia Churches Mold Series of Services A series of services is being held this week at Namozine and Mat toax Presbyterian churches in Amelia county, every evening at 8 p. m.
