Sandv River John and Drewrv Gates visited Mr. and Mvs. Jesse Gates, of Guinea Mills, Friday evening. Tommie Gates and Misses Vir ginia and Bettie Gates, of Roanoke Rapids. N. C.. were home for the week end. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Massie in Lynchburg Saturday. Mrs. Tom Wilson, and son joined Mr Wilson in Crewe where he is taking his spring vacation. Mrs. James Gates a n d Miss Blanche Bass attended the WMU Farmville group meeting at Spring Creek Baptist church Tuesday. Mrs. Sam Hughes spent. Tuesday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Gates. Mr. and Mrs. J W Beasley were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs Hat cher Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gates at tended a birthday dinner, honoring Richa’d Osborn, given by his grand parents. Mr. and Mrs. R B Wal thall, Sunday.
