Rudershausen gave a demonstration on an electric power plant The power company was kind enough to lend us a model of a power plant and also a movie on electricity. On April 12. there were four dem onstrations given by members of the class. The first one was on how you can make and use an electric motor and use a battery to get electricity It was given by Gary White and Bruce FUppen. The second demonstration was on proper study lighting. It was given by Carter Norton and Glenna Blank enship. A third demonstration was given by Gerald Driver It was on fuses and why you should not use a penny instead of a fuse. The fourth demonstration was given on frayed cords and how to put on and take off a plug on the cord. The class learned a lot from these demonstrations and I’m sure out homes will be much safer with the knowledge we gained from them.
