for the murder of Mrs. Terry Sisk on the night of October 12 at Slate Mills. The motion was made * following a .request of Sheriff J.

A miscellaneous assortment of the county’s monthly bills as well ” as several sheep and poultry claims were' authorised for payment by the board.
J. E. Johnson, resident engi,-neer for the state highway, .presented the final secondary highway budget for the fiscal ^year. This Was unanimously approved by the hoard. Mr. Johnson reviewed with the board some of tihe road improvements recentlly ' made, and he also, stated that one of the main needs of the county Toad system was the construction of new bridges. He stated he hoped these, would undergo construction in the near future.
The request of Robert L. Brown i for some cabinets in the treasurer’s office was granted by the > board. Mr. Brown said that the cabinets would eliminate the np■ ceasity of purchasing another desk? for the office.

He stated that this purchase would save the county money by preventing future losses for which the county would be held responsible. This request was granted.
