Sperryville H. 5. Carnival
Vi On Friday evening, October 28, . a Hallowe’en Carnival was held in the Sperryville school, auditorium. In spite of rain, about 200 Hallowe’en spirits attended.
Shirley Cloud, as an old lady, and Patsy Frazier, as a witch, won prizes for the best costumes. Charles Racer and Bill Lyne neld lucky numbers and won homemade cakes. Bingo, a grab-hag, hot dogs, cider, cookies, and candy were enjoyed'while the little elves cavorted about the -floor.

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will meet Monday, November 7, at 7:30 o’clock in the V. F. W. room in Sperryville. *
