With 14 members present, the Castleton Home Demonstration club organized October 25 at a meeting in the home of Misp ' Emily MandelL Mrs. Doris Coughlin was chosen to lead the group_ as president. Miss Emily Mandell will .be vice-president and Mrs; Clarence Scott will serve as secretary- and treasurer. After the election, Mrs. Coughlin took over her duties as president and appointed the following club leaders: Mrsi Mamla Leake and Mr*. P. Dellinger as foods leader and „ Mrs. John Woodard and Mrs. Clarence Scott as home improver ntent leaders. ' - V
The Chester Gap Home Demonstration clhb, a newly organized club which has met only twice, decided to organtize at the meeting on October 27. They chose as their president Mrs. Ivy Williams, Mrs. Mary Lee Wines as vice-president and Mrs. Marie Williams, secretary and treasurer.
Up to date this means that there' are eight organized home demonstration clubs, in the county. The agent meets regularly with twelve clubs each month and hopes to organize the other four clubs just as soon as possible.
A new Woodville H.D. $lu,b is to be started November 11. This new^elub will have its first meeting at the home -of Mrs. Charlie Jenkins. The demonstration will be on the subject of. bottoming chairs and stools, split bottom .and string bottom methods.
