Berryville Meeting

’ Thirty SperryvilleRigh School girls accompanied their home economics instructor, Miss Owen, to Berryville on Friday, October 28, to attend a meeting of the Future Homemakers of America from Frederick, Warren, Rappahannock, and Clarke counties. Jean Brown served on the time and place committee; Joan Brown, on the resolutions committee; and 'Carolyn Jenkins, on the nominating committee, of which Miss Owed was advisor

^he“ Sue Slaughter missionary group of the Shiloh, association met' at Amissviile Baptist church Friday, October 2>8.

Mrs. E. gette* Sallee, a missionary in China for the pas t37 years, was one of the guest speakers, giving as her message ‘‘The Fruits of Love in China.” Other speakers taking part? on the pro-gramt were Mrs. A. W. Ytwell, JJrs, L. J. Kilby, Mrs. P. E. Erame, Rev. M. E. Sliger of Flint Hill, and Mrs. Mack Marshall, of Charlottesville.

In the group from Sperryville attending were the Rev. A. Paul Thompson, Mrs. HJolmes Hall, Mrs. . ‘8. F. Miller, Mrs. C. E. Johnson* JK, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. Redes Brown, and Mrs. B. M. Varner.
